Where did the Dixie Darlin' Collection Go?

Are you wondering where the majority of our collection has gone recently? If you don't follow our owners on social media lets get you caught up to speed...

Our founder Taylor Shelhamer was officially diagnosed with stage 3 endometriosis this past April. She had no "obvious signs or symptoms" (she'll get into that in a later post) leading up to being diagnosed - unfortunately other than infertility. While recovering from her laparoscopy & excision surgery she made the personal decision to share her story publicly. Endometriosis effects 1 in 10 women & infertility effects 1 in 8 women, yet there seems to be no dialogue about this infertility epidemic. Please don't suffer silently... you're not alone! Since Dixie Darlin' primarily caters to woman she wanted to turn a negative situation into a positive one by helping to bring awareness to this disease.

A message from Taylor:

Jimmy & I have decided to make Dixie Darlin’ extremely exclusive with the release of our Fall Collection (no we’re not going out of business). It’s no secret we’re going through fertility treatments, so I’m doing everything I can to eliminate added stress at this point in time. Which means I’m thinning out our absolutely insane inventory count! At the end of the day we are a very large mom & pop business.

If you’ve been to our online store lately you’ve probably noticed almost everything was marked sold out, and is now missing! In the past our website would have 20-30+ designs fully stocked at all times in a variety of colors & styles to chose from. Instead you’ll now find 3-5 new arrivals along with some signature designs, and a few accessories. Moving forward when these pieces are sold out - they are gone!

If you want to be one of the first ones to know when new designs are available and NEVER pay full price for Dixie Darlin’ again join our exclusive Facebook group. It’s basically a hybrid version of our previous Darlin’ of the Month club! There’s also lots of other perks - but you’ll have to join to find out!

- xoxo Tay.

Thank you for sharing you story. It’s hard to talk about infertility, for I’m one that was not able to have children. I will keep you in my thoughts, prays, and hopes. Thank you.
